... any part of the city. This was another fascinating tour we have been able to enjoy. The building has heaps of history, wonderful murals, moving memorials to fallen soldiers of the province, an historic library holding over 500000 volumes, reading rooms, portrait galleries and many artifacts to do with previous governments.
Thanks to Emma and her mates, we went to City Hall and were lucky enough to meet the Mayor of Regina Michael Fougre. Great ...

... the good part, I tried to use my credit card at Shell and it was rejected, so I tried my AMEX. Next thing I know my phone is going off with credit alerts. Had to contact both to not have my cards turned off. In Canada, their credit cards have chips, once again we are the last to the party.  It was a long day, after three days of rally. I have now ridden over 3000 miles and I have a lot more ahead of me. ...

... had a fun last day at work and did hardly anything for the afternoon. But the girls did manage to get her really good with a cream pie to the face!! :) When we got home we had to pack everything up. We had nearly everything we needed just needed fresh stuff in the morning on our way out. Angela cooked us a nice steak and some New Zealand Lamb chops on the BBQ for supper which was a treat!! And we gave her this special photo book we had made for her on the snap fish ...

... just carry-ons! A sympathetic soul behind the desk hears us and goes to bat for us to the "boss-lady", who calls the plane and holds it for us. There is extra process at the gates in Amsterdam - extra questions, validating of passports, going through security again ... but they let us through and we make our flight, and with better seats to boot!!! Super happy about that.

No sleep on the 8-hour leg, ...
