... Ronnie became head coach in Edmonton (1991-97) and took the Eskimos to the Grey Cup twice, winning the Cup in 1993. He then coached the Hamilton Tiger Cats (1997-2003) with a similar record, winning the Cup in 1999.

Ron survived lung cancer diagnosed in 2004. He was still with the Tiger Cat management team when died of a heart attack in 2008 at the age of 69. ...
