Almost back to the beginning
Well here we are at the FAM CAMP at Fairchild AFB. This was the 1st place we stayed when we started our epic adventure last year. We came up 95 & 195 so were only on I 90 about 1 1/2 miles until we cut of to the base. Once again it was a beautiful drive and good roads. The base is dead as it is a 3 day holiday.We had lost track of time and had no idea of the holiday.

Return, Day 13: Missoula, MT to Coeur d'Alene, ID
... scene you expect when you think of Montana: gentle stream, rocky and curving, aspens alongside, and pines behind, marching up the mountains, and those mountains as far as you can see. The wildfire smoke was less obvious in the horizontal morning light.

It is a beautiful day to travel clear and crisp. Our first stop will be to the Brickerts home in Wise River Mt. (near Anaconda). Derrell and Fon will be joining us with their Motor home. We will meet Fon in Boston as she is traveling from Thailand to join her husband Derrell.

Day 1
300 miles, from Redmond to Post Falls Idaho. Very hazy day today driving through Eastern Washington, we could see multiple fires to the east.
We're heading east fairly quick, the plan is to make Yellowstone by tomorrow. So far so good!
