    ... the minister gave us a warm welcome and at the end of the 3 hour service they gave us ham sandwiches, a herbal drink and a free taxi ride ack to the ship.

    ... so avoided all the large queues. Not like 2 years ago where we queued for nearly 3 hours. They have improved it no end. A short taxi ride and we were at Ft Lauderdale beach which was lovely, just as we remembered it. The sun was out and the temperature was on the up (not good in jeans).     ... the famous elephant who painted with its trunk ! We couldn't make out what these splodges of colour were meant to represent. There was some clever handiwork like a jewellery maker and one which made sculptures out of wire, one piece was of a man stood up taking a pee. In all, it was thoroughly interesting and this place also offered development programs, workshops and classes by professionals.

    So, we've been sailing now for 6+days & I have to tell ya - if a person isn't relaxed by this point, there's something wrong with them! This has been a lovely trip so far - despite both Jim & I dealing with minor colds the last few days - I'm pretty much recovered. Jim's closer.     ... us. Apparently I'm in a cynical mood. I'm starving so I was happy to see the Pei Wei sign as an option. I order my usual (honey-seared chicken with brown rice) hoping I won't get a stomach ache after I eat it. I've been dealing with issues for the last week. I collect my food and press onward.
