We drove over to Portland Maine yesterday. Realized that most towns or cities around here have seperate cities with the same names. Example.....Conway, North Conway, South Conway and even Center Conway! They all have seperate signs welcoming you to their city. Portland has a North Porland. Just a little trivia for you today. Stopped at Portland ...

Day two of camping we woke after most of us had a restful night sleep. Gwen is not much fun to share a bed with, I might have a black eye from as many times as I was hit last night! It was a foggy, misty wet day but comfortable temperature. We had breakfast by camp stove, we need a two burner stove soon. For lunch we heading to Ken's Place for clam strips and lobster rolls then to the pier to see the water and walk around a bit. Most shops were closed for ...

On the way home, I decided I was deserving of a trip back to Freeport for some retail therapy for all of my driving and picked up a few goodies for me and Mark. Mark had to work late that night so I was in no real rush to get back and enjoyed the views of the fall leaves as we wouldn't have the pleasure of such a pretty view much longer. ...

Flew to Honolulu from LAX on Hawaiian Airlines

A travel blog entry by gailipoo on Sep 26, 2014

Got up at 5am after a bad Nights sleep. Caught the hotel shuttle to LAX and had an easy checkin for once. Good not to have to be under 23kgs anymore. We have up to 32 kgs now. We were sitting at Gate 27 well ahead of time. A Hawaiian Airlines rep got on the microphone and asked if anybody wanted to upgrade to First Class for $345 per seat. Greg talked me into it eventually. After all, every flight we have had has located us in the last row almost. I paid ...
