We made it to our first hotel...Days Inn in Orangeburg, SC. It was a nice place and the price was right. We pulled into the hotel lot and saw several vehicles from Ohio. We were pooped...I don't think I have gone to sleep before 10:00 in a long time!

... I bet he was the truck parked next to us..... He said,"hey!!" Not in a friendly way but in a wtf way. He then watched me walk back to the cab (I think he was bewildered). Yes, I have a pee pot (more about that later). Men can just hang off the side of the truck. Fueling up takes a long time....we have a small tank. They can get up to 300 gallons though. I had no idea where I was supposed to go, what I was supposed to do, what room I was in. I felt really lost and abandoned. Security got me to sign a heap of paperwork and gave me my key. They also gave me a form that needed to be filled in within 24hrs to say where there is damage in my room so that when I leave I don't get charged for damage that was already there when I moved in.
