... we went back to hotel for a few hours before trying at 5pm to get a cab for the Blue Note. That was really a challenge for the hotel guy and it took probably 20+ minutes! But we eventually got one and got there about ten of 6... Perfect time to get in line and wait for doors to open at 6. We got tickets on their website but using American Express card which got us reserved seats which we would do again. The venue is VERY crowded and close with everyone ...

... boys. Traffic was brutal and it took the hotel guy 10 mins just to get a cab. We got within a few blocks and traffic was dead stopped so we got out and walked. ... much! The food was perfunctory steakhouse...nothing special compared to some other place we have been over the years! We quickly went back to room and to sleep. Room was nice...right on Madison with a little bump out with windows and small chair and couch. Nice amenities. We didn't use the roof garden but peeking in, it looked charming! Nor did we take advantage of daily wine and cheese ...
