... to the Northwest and the 3 NP's in Washington and to the Southern part of Texas to complete a bunch of the things on our bucket list.
Sure was good to get home and eat a real breakfast those "FREE" motel breakfasts sure leave a lot to be desired. We did eat some great food and used Trip Adviser Restaurant guide as our way of getting the good ones.

Very scenic drive through New York State, heading toward the Adirondacks - the trees are very green but with some fall colours just starting. The campsite is rustic and very quiet, not too busy.
Highlights: Downtown Corning, beautiful town with old buildings and pretty parks
Rest stops are labelled "Text Stops" - very clever!
... senses a time warp as it carried me right back to my youth ( as misspent as it was) and then meandered to present day.
The field behind the Hall is pretty special as well as I looked from the original grandstands to the field and it was easy to envision a game in progress.
To say the Baseball Hall of Fame is a very special place is an understatement I am truly thankful to have been there.
Oh by the way the Town is well worth the visit on its own.

As well as a journey through the various years of my life and decades with players who I watched or read about, admired for their skills. Interesting how people you do not really know on a personal level can have an impact on your life.
Lin cooked an incredible dinner with bacon and Moose pancakes all very delicious I might add!!
... campus. We went to Pita Pockets for lunch...so good! It was a Mediterranean place owned by a man from Syria. He came to the United States about 2 years ago. He was very friendly and gave us some free food.
We arrived in Utica, NY to the Radisson hotel where we are staying. Poor Utica! It is a ghost town. So many empty buildings and the streets are deserted. We got some dinner at the hotel restaurant. ...
