Our day to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. We picked up Ashley from the apartment early, and headed off on our 4 hour journey east on the Interstate. Cooperstown was chilly. Oh, and they have a baseball hall of fame. The museum and hall were both great. I spent four hours inside and could've easily spent six. Nicole got her hair done. It was amazing being able to stand inches away from baseball history. It was really special to see an artifact from a game you had been to or seen on television. They didn't do the negro leagues justice. ...
Time to get overly acquainted with baseball today.
After waking up and battling a bunch of earwigs that were creeping around our tent it was time to drive the 15 or so miles into town from our middle of nowhere farm town campground.
There was a pumpkin festival going on so the main lot in town was full of giant pumpkins instead of cars which meant we had to park in convenient 2 ...
... The poncho provided did nothing to stop me from getting soaked. The Maid of the Mist was so much fun, i highly recommend checking it out if you ever find yourself in the Niagara falls area.
So after one final wander up and down the street to try and dry off, we were back on the road by 11am and heading back into the USA and on route to Cooperstown, NY home of the Baseball hall of fame. Tonight we would once again be back in the tent.
