Which led us to Sunday 28th, and check out ahead of the 6 and a half hour drive to the Florida panhandle. There was knotted ropes tied to the trees so climbers could safely ease themselves down the opening, that was pretty sweet. When we got to the bottom there was a group of boys scouts on all of the easy routes. This was Kenzie and Luke's first time out so we didn't want to go too hard. We came across a 5.7 " Dust Bowl" trad line and decided to attempt to set up a top ...

... to find Anna Ruby Falls but drove right past and ended up north along Rte 356. So we had to swing around through Lake Burton ...a very pretty long lake with many fingers of land so lots of coves.. Would be great for a kayak or canoe. We then drove alone the arussell-Brasstown Scenic Byway to Brasstown Bald...the top of the highest mountain in Georgia at 4700 ft. We took a shuttle to the top and checked out the vistas. You can see 4 states...Georgia, Tennessee, North ...
