... to the national volunteers about our country (and vice versa) - they danced and sang to us all night and showed us what it's really like to live in Guatemala! Even though we were shattered... We stayed up all night talking and laughing!! We got told we'd be spending the day in Antigua on Friday - excited was an understatement! Off to bed I went... No luggage and still smelling like utter ****... BUT THEN... A van turned up ...

STILL not in Guatemala! 3 flights delayed and cancelled within 50 hours! We're all tired to say the least... Also resulted to getting tacky Atlanta t shirts seeing as though we haven't washed or changed for 3 days... Oh yeah did I mention we have no luggage?!? The airline have no idea where they are... So YAY :D Amazing day in Atlanta with half of team Guatemala!! Had my first ever American diner ...

Everything that could have gone wrong... has gone wrong! Current location - Atlanta! (Which happens to be THE most beautiful site I've ever seen from the air!) Also guess what?!?!! Another delay... The flight to Atlanta was delayed because the pilot didn't turn up... Yep you read correctly... ... if this is for real (but so he said). He was a young and very westernized Russian who barely spoke with an accent. He reminded me of a Woody Allen/Harry Potter type. Now figure that one out! The first day we headed out of the city to Peterhof to see the magnificent palace of Peter the Great founded in 1710. We were very fortunate to witness the Great Cascade of water fountains.
