No, we haven't been eaten by Sasquatch. We've spent the last month in Salem, Oregon, house sitting for friends and enjoying the ease of modern comforts while stopping to rest and work on music and writing for a while. Friends, Kristin and Charles, generously opened their home and lives to us. Talented artists, being around them helped me feel that realization of my own aspirations is possible. I busked for the first time here. While my ...

Ahhhhh....now we are really headed home. This backway to Salem was somewhat heavier than usual with traffic but very tolerable compared to the freeway. We made it home at 1530 and all was well. The yard had been mowed by our very caring neighbors and the blueberry bushes are just loaded with blueberries. It sure felt good to be home after 7,214 miles.
... love." Love as it is, is nearly all
Courtney and I have. Love for each other. Love for the intricately spun
universe in which we haunt. Love indeed for the earth on which we
tread.
Which by the way brings us to just that. The earth. My
home. On few subjects is it possible to be both highly affluent and
still be so tragically ignorant. Soon however Courtney and I will know
for more about this world and it's consortium of peoples, cultures,
beliefs ...
... I talked to Ed today and we decided to just spend just one night in Gibraltar instead of the 3 nights I originally planned. We will now spend the extra 2 nights we have in Marbella. Click here to see our complete itinerary: PDF file
Salem, Oregon, United States retinr... the park in Salem I checked and she was right as usual. The drive was quite uneventful and we arrived at this RV resort which is located in West Salem about 1:30PM. This rally is being held by the club we belong to called the Pac Nats (which stands for Pacific Northwest National RV Owners Club). The club members all have some type of a National Motor home RV product. At this rally we had 38 coaches and 76 members in attendance. The weather did cooperate somewhat and the rain ...
Salem, Oregon, United States shiplingtoday was a LONG day. . . Bellingham, WA My sister had to go to work early this morning so my brother and I were up at quite an early hour. Since we wouldn't be able to see our sister after she got off work, we thought we'd head out early. We drove up from Shoreline to Bellingham (about an hour and a half north of Seattle). A friend of mine has been urging me to check it out so I figured we could fit it in our day's schedule. The drive up was quite nice. Lots of ...
Salem, Oregon, United States hacelleI set off from Seattle at about 11 after a marvelous breakfast of veggie omelet, bacon bread, bread and fruit salad to head to Portland. Nothing much to see along the way that I haven't seen before. I followed the signs in to Beaverton at least until I was convinced I was within shouting distance and called Kay, another online friend. Her directions were excellent and I drove straight to the house which she shares with 5 cats. It is a lovely two (or three depending on whether you ...
Beaverton, OR, United States lroff... kids were moaning, they were actually enjoying the walk. How many kids in England would be happy to go for a walk on a Saturday morning?! We did eventually make it, swearing that next time we will do it with a pedometer to prove it was over a mile! The views were amazing though and worth the walk although i was sweating more than a scouser at a Lacoste superstore! We stumbled back down collapsing in the bus with the realization that we were all completely knackered after ...
