Denis wanted me to leave you with this little piece of information-- it seems we've travelled some 8,000 kilometres hoping to see some northern lights and then we learn, on facebook, that some pretty cool northern lights were viewed in Vancouver. I will definitely be going to see him when I return to Peru, and it will be lovely to spend time with him as a friend, not a supervisor.

... this family because there is a 12 year old boy named Blake who I think will really help bring Guido out of his shell a bit. Today is my first day at my work placement and I am working at a place called lifelong learning, helping adults get their GEDS. I should probably actually go to work now... But you'll be hearing from me more often now that I'm in Canada... I hope everyone is safe, happy and taking care of each other.. I love you all... ...

... put-on and pulled-off my helmet. I did take a lot of pictures and made plenty of stops to enjoy the scenery. As I was falling asleep, I heard the rain begin to come down only to be shortly followed by some serious thunder. Normally, I'd say I like the sound of thunder as it reminds me of being little back home and we just don't get thunder in Vancouver very often. We do get a lot rain though and that was now on my mind for tomorrow's ...
