Not much to see in the Atlanta airport.  I feel funny walking through the airport with a wool jacket but temperatures in New York will plummet into the 30's tonight.  A car will pick us up from La Guardia and whisk us away to the Marriott  Marquis  where hopefully we will be there in time to see the Broadway play "Beautiful:  The Carol King Story.  More to ...

... around 4:45 in Manchester, TN. It was a beautiful cool evening, snow dusting predicted over night. There was no TV reception so we read our books and magazines, snacking on popcorn. Today, Thursday, is a travel day, covering about 300 miles to Fort Valley, GA where we stay the night. We made it through Atlanta, seven lanes wide, heavy traffic but not congested. ... czars are buried. Czar Nicholas and Alexandra ,their children and a number of servants were reburied here after their remains were discovered. Peter the great is also buried here. We headed back to the ship to freshen up for our evening at Catherine's palace which was open to only the cruise tour passengers. We were greeted with a champagne reception and canapes. ... action. Well, knowing that I would be going home to little money and wondering what I would be doing next (post camp) had been playing on the back of my mind without me really knowing it! A few days later I recieved an email from my mum saying that the tax man was giving me a bunch of money - this was thoroughly unexpected but such a huge blessing and has lightened my burden. Thanks to my father in heaven for his constant care!
