... to the national volunteers about our country (and vice versa) - they danced and sang to us all night and showed us what it's really like to live in Guatemala! Even though we were shattered... We stayed up all night talking and laughing!! We got told we'd be spending the day in Antigua on Friday - excited was an understatement! Off to bed I went... ... czars are buried. Czar Nicholas and Alexandra ,their children and a number of servants were reburied here after their remains were discovered. Peter the great is also buried here. We headed back to the ship to freshen up for our evening at Catherine's palace which was open to only the cruise tour passengers. We were greeted with a champagne reception and canapes.
