    The departure from Bangor was all straight forward and easy, the FBO was well used to small planes coming and going into the US through here. Some beautiful countryside along the way, first Maine, then Massachusetts and finally New York, very lush and green, with water a plenty with coast, lakes and rivers.

    ... Today we woke and the others went to breakfast at Stephens for bagels. I was so so tired so I stayed and had a much needed sleep. Mum hasn't tarted to get sick now so her and dad came back for a rest too. We then went to Chinatown where we were sold their wares. Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, all kinds of goodies.     ... pier 15 - the first set of directions we'd received. We eventually realised that there was no pier 15 and ended up going on a water cruise instead. While it was disappointing that we couldn't actually go onto Liberty Island with the statue, we still got to see it and take photos. We also got to see parts of New York that we probably wouldn't have seen without this cruise so it worked out well in the end.

    Heading back to Midtown for some souvenir and gift shopping for people ...

    Nooooo I definitely don't want to leave this bed... It was so huge and comfy I didn't even know I was sharing! But it was an early start as we had to pack and had left going up the Rockefeller till today as the weather was meant to be, and luckily was amazing and clear.
