Back Home - Reflections

Work Day 3 - Final Work Day

Most of the day, since bending over or squatting were difficult for me to do, I settled for handing Dave R shingles, acting as gofer on the roof, pulling nails and staples out of board so that it could be used on some of the walls, and putting up the paper on the walls of the hours prior to adding siding and nailing it down with buttons. Work Day 2
... day without dropping any of my bottles of water off the roof. I only got half credit for that since I accidentally sent Ron's hammer sliding down the roof. I also sent a bag of shingles sliding down the roof, but luckily it stopped before it slid off.

Work Day 1
... pooped out I first switched to throwing the removed shingles into the dumpster and then I worked at removing the roofing nails. Ron showed me how to more easily remove the nails. I have a new found appreciation fro the hammer. It is a very good fulcrum and with a very little leverage I was able to remove the nails. My big problem of the day was having my bottle of water roll off the roof. ...
