A Quick Drive

A travel blog entry by yellowstoners on Nov 13, 2014

... br> We got as far as Harrisonburg, Virginia where we found a nice little KOA cabin to take shelter in. Now, apparently this KOA was special because not only was there a great place to eat near by, but they actually did deliveries to the KOA! Once we found this out we took the chance to have a nice hot meal brought to our door. And no regrets were had that night.

Once we were checked into the hotel my brain tumor felt better so we walked across the road to see the Formula 1 film "Rush". Which I give a 8 out of 10.

Dinner was spent at the "Texas Roadhouse". Me and Les shared a 22oz Porterhouse steak which ...

... dinner under the overhang of the bathroom, which was the only dry (in relative-terms) place we could find. Of course, the down pour lasted only a half hour, which happened to be the small period of time our gear was exposed. Needless to say, our first night on the road was spent in the car.
