... with Petulant, she was still there, with no sense she was not part of the Lemur Group so I had to tell her to get out of the way. Eventually I caught Petulant leaving the restaurant out of the corner of my eye [we ate on opposite sides]. It reminded me of when a wave rolls in and then starts to head back out, the latter action inconsequential. FOAD, Petulant.

Never did nicknames for the lot on the Xian half. Just to complete things for the Kashgar ...

... Speaking of the US south, I am sick and tired of CNN yapping about the Confederate flag.

Down to E71 gate area to chill, literally. Boarded eventually and into seat 35A. Not as nice flying out at night re the view. Thought it was dumb re a meal after midnight but hungry so had the [macaroni and cheese] pasta and a rum and coke. The AC music offerings are the *****.

My hopeless attempt at some sleep ...

... suggestions. I could spin this trait into a description of myself as open to experience, as a free spirit, as spontaneous, but what I really am is touristically lazy.

And now, instead of looking up tourist attractions, I will either continue reading the appropriately-titled book The Vacationers by Emma Straub or start re-reading A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. My kind of research :)

Nobody likes overnight flights and with an early arrival into LHR with two flights to follow, there will be lots of teeth gnashing to start.

Left the folks and Tabu behind c 1410 for an uneventful trip to Toronto Pearson airport. Surprised the Park 'n Fly Self Park lot was quite full; service continues to slip but inside Terminal 1 around 1545.

Already had my boarding pass [via the web yesterday] but probably should ...
