Operation Monday is a post-conference preaching activity that happens every year on the Monday following Conference. We all arrived at 9am and received our bright orange Operation-Monday tshirts, were split into groups and given a pack of leaflets and a map. ... Amazing how the family connection is there even with their strong Canadian accents. We went to cousin Bills place for dinner (they said supper!) His wife Joanna is a sweet hostess. ... ahead and we named it: Bracing the freezing Canadian Winter whilst enjoying ice skating. We dressed like onions, putting on one layer after the other until we felt like the Michelin guy,.. Skating was quite fun and we managed to stay on our feet the whole time, retreating into the warmth of the cafe every now and then to avoid our noses and hands to fall prey to frostbite.

... the places had a cheese that was the greatest tasting mouthful of goodness ever!!! expensive tho... so we will have to try and remember it.
We were dropped back home after the 8th winery, empty handed except for a bucket of grapes. There were nice wines... however no cheap clean skins like back home.
It was a fun day and we made some new friends.
