      ... has been absolutely spectacular. Last time I was here I remember having to stop at LLBean to buy a t-shirt, because even though it was early November it was sunny and in the 70s and I was not prepared. This visit was almost as nice, just a little bit cooler, but sunny and gorgeous. I think Portland likes me and wants to show off.

      ... winds picked up to hurricane speeds and it would have been really easy to be blown off the top. We were literally in the clouds. At first I thought it was raining but then I realized we were just getting wet because we were actually standing in the cloud. I could have opened my mouth and it would have filled with cloud water, which btw doesn't taste great.       After the great exercise, Brian decided to make homemade pasta. Tony and Michelle had a pasta maker and Brian showed them his technique for making pasta from scratch in a very short amount of time. We made two types of sauce: a tomato based sauce and a pesto. Both were delicious.
