And so the journey begins; wondering if a move to Canada is in our future.
At home, I'd spent time looking online at properties for sale. Our problem is this: we don’t know where we really would like to settle, will kids and their families join us. I also had lots of questions about immigration.
While on the road in the US I sent some requests to various realtors for places we thought might work. As ...
First, let me say...Nate is a trucker. He hauls cement powder from Exshaw, Alberta to places all over western Canada. He is in the habit of getting up really early to go to work before the traffic gets nuts...it's a habit that he carries into vacations. A break came on March 7, so we traveled keeping to the Number 1 highway all the way. It was sunny, dramatic scenery and lots of melting going on. We arrived in our new home at Gardom Lake late afternoon, having quite a challenge getting the RV into a spot cleared of snow for us. Our good friends arrived at the same ...
