From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction. Our next stop was to relive November 22, 1963. The sixth floor of the Book Depository building at Dealey Plaza was full of ...

I've never been outside the DFW airport since it's usually a short 1 hour or so layover. What is there to do around here?! Time to go Googling... (30 minutes later) Itinerary set: - Old Red museum - ...

... old adage of children being raised by a community again rang true. Extraordinarily nice kids. There is an omni-present gravity in the importance of commonality amongst all Americans. The good ones make it a priority. While a good community can be established and nurtured beyond the gates, the safety of walls facilitates the process. The next day the family took us downtown to see The Alamo, originally known as the Mission San Antonio de ...
