Had a lovely evening last night at Staffs restaurant in Fort Walton Beach, fresh fish and couple of beers and some wine. Might be doubling up on this, sorry must be tired!!

Anyway we left Fort Walton this morning in cooler weather, about 75, and had a quick look at beautiful Destin Beach but just then it started raining, jackets on for about 15 minutes and then it stopped.

Sitting at Newberry's Backyard BBQ. Just went to a clearly illigal riverfront water park. It was fun but the chances of someone dying there were higher then most places. It was full of high school kids drinking beer from their trunks and then swinging on ropes (sometimes in groups of three) from the tops of tree houses into the river. It was wild.

... and took the bus. Sarah later admitted that she enjoyed the bus rides as her favorite Disney ride!

We did some shopping, dancing, and eating...boy did we eat.

... to the diner at the motel for breakfast to get a $3 special of hash browns, bacon, eggs, and toast. There is something to be said about cheap food that makes it all better that you don't even know where the heck you are. And this was good.

After breakfast we went to the first dive site, Ginnie Springs, which is known primarily for its cave and cavern diving. Unfortunately since we were getting certified ...

... bursting a half hour later!!! Michael transfixed us all as did so many other excellent musicians from Pennsyvania to Texas to Tennessee, Kentucky, and more. It was amazing!!! I did not take pictures during the show but did get a few shots of some of the star players while they jammed in the afternoon. When we arrived and headed for our camp site the deer were all around. So we set up, started a fire, got out the chairs, pop a beer and enjoyed our last night of our trip. Well Folks we finally made it to a Bar-B-Que place. We had to wait till we finished to see if you we could give it a stamp of approval. As you can see by the picture we loved it!!! This stop officially starts the healthy kick....booo. Nothing like some delicious BBQ!!!

There was a Texas Roadhouse over the road where we got a couple of steaks and then back to the hotel where along with the excellent Bill Meyer we also watched "curb your enthusiasm" which is about this mid 50yr old jewish guy who always seems to get into fixes of his own making - it is very funny and we hope it gets onto UK TV at some point.
