The light is operated by the Coast Guard so that part is off limits but there is a small lookout at the top of the house. One can see Connecticut across the bay.

... as we had to see Yale. We arrived there and fed the parking meter for 1 hr. Unfortunately it was a 10 min walk to the start of Yale so we only saw the library that jess told us to see and other buildings on our walk. It was stunning architecture and I loved the feel of the university campus. Had to walk quickly back to the car, and luckily wasn't booked. We were only 5 mins late.
