We arrived at Villahermosa at 6:15 p.m. almost a 12 hour trip, 374 miles, that's without freeways. It also includes a stop at WalMart to get supplies, two separate on board inspections one military, the other were border agents on the State line of Campeche and a quick stop to eat.

Tabasco State of Mind
Just as we got comfy and settled on the overnight bus we were ordered to exit the vehicle. It was a stopover from 11pm to midnight. What else was there to do except find a taco stand! The eternal quest.
There was no tabasco in sight even though we were in the state of Tabasco. Good thing we always have a Tabasco state of mind and a hip flask of hot ...

Villahermosa x 2 nights
Hotel around the corner from the bus station, which is why I chose it.
Another concrete bed, room on the front over looking the road, not much sleep!
Visited Parque La Venta, when they discovered oil at la venta they moved all the Olmec heads to here, Jalapa and mexico city museums.
