    ... parents when they were alive. Pete is in him mid 90’s but still getting around. It is always good to talk to them when we are in town. We had a good visit with them and introduced them to Mousse.

    When Kathy and Dozer got home from work, we headed out to Byron, IL for dinner. We will be leaving for North Carolina tomorrow.

    ... sculptures - and crowds were enjoying skating at an outdoor rink there. Chicago is a very big, cold, & usually Windy City, but thankfully we didn't have the wind. We were told that the tee rapture had't risen above freezing for the previous two weeks. There are many very big modern skyscrapers and the skyline is quite impressive.     Today was the big day. The instigating reason for dropping down into the States here in the Midwest on my return journey. My Grandpa Bratt's 90th birthday party. A big celebration at my Dad and Shanasy's home: catered, decorated, festive... and of course, with live music!
