      Homeward Bound

      Up before our 6 AM wake up call. A quick breakfast and our bus to ride to the airport at 7. Our bags weighed in without over weight! We had two carry ons bags. One was the camera bag and the other had our sand rose fossil and tagine (heavy stuff but it fit! I had a large tote bag with the mirror, rug and my purse. Ed had his CPAC machine.

      ... up to the waterfront and all along it to the top edge of North End. The sky was slightly orangey in places and there were some amazing views out to sea. There were lots of runners and dog walkers, couples with coffees wandering along the front. And then there was me, in my bobble hat and panda gloves surveying all around, and savouring every last moment in Boston. I popped into a starbucks on the way back from a pumpkin spiced latte.       ... went off with a bang. Plenty of people showed up and the BBQ itself was smashing (donated by our bizzare landlord, who has a habit of ditching his broken items with us). The pool table went well, remaining in tact, and the rest of the house was left in pretty good condition! I went to bed about 2:30am, since I am an old man, but some people stayed until almost 5am, jolly good effort!
