... a lovely shiny lexus which he had borrowed off his Grandma, so I had climate control as we slowly made our way through the traffic. After dropping my stuff off at his Grandma's house we went for food at a place called Dos Coyotes. Out of boredom I had consumed a lot of food on the flight, so I wasn't too hungry. Tonks has no idea we're about to leave her in the capable hands of our dog sitter, N. She busy chasing balls and being terrified of puddles. Good luck, puppy!

Jordan and the girls get up at 430 for a 645 flight. I have two more works days before I meet them, but they should start posting tomorrow, barring jet lag.

Wish us well on our exciting, somewhat harebrained expedition. Why would we have it any other way?

We drove to Davis for 8 hours, rested up for the ceremony that took place in the Pavilion on campus, and readied ourselves for the moment I had been waiting for for quite some time.
