... As at the barracks, a horrible, dilapidated building, there was even less happening than in the harbor, I doubt whether any spy, much less any tourist, would ever want to waist his photos on this building.

... everything got really smoothly, traveling through Italy got really challenging cause of the people did not take hitchhikers and trains were too expensive for us. So we ride without tickets and find a way to get away with it (stepping in the back and look were the train staff is getting in). In Italy we got a really nice brawn skin that`s almost gone by the way. Lying on the beach in Saverno and Civitavecchia was really good for us, finally after all the hard ...

Hi all,

Last I posted I was headed back to Nounou's house for dinner and it was a delicios spread of traditional Lebanese food. Funny thing was auntie Nounou assumed I didn't know the food but of course I knew it all! My mom makes all of them :) Nounou's cooking was delicious! I ate and ate and ate...I am already thinking about another P90X round as soon as I get home...

After dinner I was so tired (it was only 11PM) that ...

24 hours later...I am here!

Hi Everyone,

After 3 connections and 24 straight hours of travel I have arrived safely in Beruit! Aunt Nounou was there at the airport but unfortunately, neither of us recognized each other. After walking around and staring at people awkwardly for awhile, we finally did that too each other and realized who is who!

I arrived late in the day so we haven't done any sites today. Beruit has a very Euro look and feel from what I can tell so ...

... is up and coming. Definitely. Having made a reservation on line at the Napoli hotel on one of the main drags in the city – amongst the students at the American University of Beirut we checked in. Having been told we didn't have a reservation and that we needed to pay again! After some discussion and a couple of room changes we knew that this would be a hotel where we would have to don the “Mummy Sacks” yet again..... those ...
