4670 Elk Lake Drive Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, V8Z 5M2, 250-704-4656
... Country in between Vernon and Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. It was a perfect road trip - music from my Zune loud and clear, dry, uncrowded roads, supreme, constantly changing scenery.<br>I love BC! Every time I drive through it I'm reminded that it's the most beautiful place in the world.<br>
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada hilaryfordI thought I might write a bit of a summary for this years travel.<br> <br>People often ask what was our favorite place, well its actually hard to say. <br><br> We like New England, but were a little disappointed with Maine, perhaps our expectations were too high. While its true that there is a huge population in the NE there are also plenty of places where you don't feel crowded.New Brunswick in Canada was depressing, it is a ...
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada brentandjo... Point No Point, which was home to a wonderful restaurant. We watched bald eagles soaring, and saw gulls try to mob them away. Through the binoculars on the table, we could watch the ships on the Juan de Fuca straight, and see the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. And the next morning we lingered in our little spot in paradise, before the ferry to Vancouver called, along with the plane that would take me home.
Sooke, British Columbia, Canada fyrelizard... kunna göra det :))<br><br> Vi väntade on the dock of the bay på vårt sjöplan...
Friday Harbor, Washington, United States josma... Now I had the bus timetable, and a watch-a vital combination – and I knew it was going to be tight. Melanie had neither, and was feeling pretty exhausted from the morning’s hike. So I pressed on ahead, running the last 20m when I saw the bus waiting in the bus stop. I knew it was a little futile as they probably wouldn’t wait for Melanie to catch up, but in the end it didn’t matter, they pulled away just as I reached the back of the bus. The next bus was in an hour ...

Victoria, British Columbia, Canada scher-airSorry for the recent delays in adding updates but just been too busy/ deprived of the necessary resources!! The trip to Victoria (Vancouver Island) included sailing through the quite beautiful Southern Gulf Islands. Having booked our selves into a campground somewhere near Victoria, we were at the mercy of British Columbia's public transportation...again! Once docked we embarked upon possibly the ...
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada benandchris... a self-guided walking tour thru town and around the harbour to West Victoria, then took a little harbour shuttle boat back to Fishermans wharf. By the time we got back to the ship, we'd been on our feet for 5 hours and walked at least 7 miles. As we were boarding, there were spa staff handing out flyers for a 20-20-20 message special. For only $89, they will do 20 minutes on your neck and shoulders ...
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada ronmystyk... in the book when he was getting frustrated with his Journey and was about to quit searching and go back home. He persevered. I just have to be patient. On the drive back from Victoria I stopped in the town of Chemainus. They have these murals painted on all the town buildings. I walked around to see most of them. What an AWESOME weekend! Last week I took a drive to Port Alberni and Comox. During this drive numerous "revelations" came to me. I now know who I must contact ...
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada cobra1899... and enjoy some of Val's home made blackberry jam which she kindly sent us off with. We then head off on a bit of a trek down to the park and onto the headland where we find we can walk all the way back into the city - so we do. We head to the Titanic exhibition at the national museum which is very interesting - everyone got a ticket for the Titanic on the way in and then you got to see whether you ...
