The ultimate hotel experience is dependent upon the cleanliness of the room and the bathtub in this room failed that test. I cleaned the tub before I took a shower.

Alex and I woke to a beautiful sunrise at Val and Rob's place, a location that was actually near where the story "On Golden Pond" was based. Mallett's Bay is located on the 40 mile Island Line Trail. We biked about 12 miles of this beautiful, well maintained trail that includes waterfront and parks which connects Burlington to South Hero Island. A large portion of this trail is a former Rutland Railroad railbed (stopped running in the 1960s) which includes a very long causeway across Malletts Bay.
