Boy is this falter a waste land!! Nothing but oil pump jacks and junkyards in this entire area! What a difference in scenery from the past. 5 days!!
But we are close to the airport for our 7:15am flight to IAH then DCA so it works. We killed enough time driving around looking at stupid stuff that it landed us in Odessa at 5pm.

I attempted to avoid the middle of the night bathroom run by refusing to drink any liquids after 5pm...but much to my dismay my body woke me up at 2am to make the long sub-zero walk to the restrooms. If we ever take this kind of a trip again I am investing in some sort of girl friendly portable pee holder...maybe.

... in the Guadalupe Mountains were formed when sulfuric acid dissolved the limestone over hundreds and thousands of years, leaving these other worldly creatures behind. There are dozens of caves that you can walk down into 750 feet below the surface, over a 1.25 mi pathway. When we finally got to the bottom, we came to an eight acre “Big Room”, Just amazing… souvenirs and water available.
