... handsome. In Guangzhou I see some men and I think hey he looks kind of like Bruce Lee, in China that never happens. There is no resemblance. Cantonese is a very different language. Even counting to 10 is different enough I didn't have time to learn it properly. I feel I will end up back in this city again. Well it has one of the largest and busiest airports in China/Asia so that's not such a big thing to say.
The Dialou watchtowers in Kaiping, Guangdong are some of the most unique pieces of architecture in the world. I say this easily because they were built by rich peasant farmers (already interesting) who had seen western architecture, but had no training in building.

went through the usual processes having my bags scanned, getting my passport
stamped etc however what I was not ready for was the time it took to get
through customs… I remember thinking on the plane that a two hour stop over
would be plenty of time to get through customs and around ...

We have all gotten to know Emmett a little bit better over these past few days in Guangzhou, but we look forward to settling into our home in Lombard. Over time, we look forward to introducing our little guy to you all in the coming weeks and months.

... completely soaked all of us. We hung out for a little while, even eventually made it to the Panda exhibit, but we could only catch a glimpse of one panda, which had decided to stay inside and out of the rain. That was a bit of a downer, but still a good trip.
