My dear friends: It's getting colder in Canada and my thoughts are wandering to warmer climes. On January 12/2010, I fly to Managua, Nicaragua and then work my way north ending up in Cancun, Mexico. From there, I fly to join many members of the Gaudun family in Daytona Beach. If you would rather not get notifications of my travel blogs just send a brief "no thank you" to this travelpod . No problem. Hasta la vista baby. Steve

... of the street so when passengers disembark, they have to cross a lane full of cars before they get to the curb. Amazingly, nobody gets run over.
· One really notices the diverse cultures of the people. On one corner there were about six small restaurants where you could choose Japanese, Korean, East Indian, Chinese, European or Italian cuisine.
· Near city hall, there was a group of Sri ...

... Platform, Karon asks a person where we get the bus to Toronto, Section 4! Ok lets sit and wait it should be every half hour we reckon, during the wait period we watched some come and go but not to our section, mmmm getting a little suspicious we go looking for a time table, to discover we still have 30 mins wait and it takes an hour to get into town, we figured hey that makes it 3:30 arrival in town and a bit late to look around. Let us abandon this ...
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada ariteo... really book my trips ahead of time cause the super saver was sold out. So I had to pay the regular fare. Round trip $237 from Ottawa to Toronto and back. It was pretty comfortable and I left at around 12:30/12:20pm so I didn't have to wake up tooo early. I then took the train GO to get to Hamilton on Friday which is the local train/bus and I guess it was the rush hour cause the train was packed. I managed to squeeze into a seat with my tiny luggage cause I ...

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada bellsinitaly... their home for the last couple nights I'm here in Toronto. Last night it was Soooo comfy. The previous nights in the hostel were so uncomfortable. There was no ventilation or airflow so it was stifling in the room. Not even a fan to help. Sat & Sun night I slept on the floor with a sheet to stay a little cooler (dogs and cats got it right). Yesterday morning I packed a box to send back home. It ...
Toronto, Ontario, Canada troys... were two possibilities: 1. They are unable to land planes. 2. They are unwilling to land planes. So ok, my thinking continued... why would the FAA not be able to land planes? Some major power outage? The air traffic control grid goes down? Both possible, I guess. Now why would they be unwilling to land planes? I dunno... they lost Air Force One? Not bloody likely, right? We are under attack... come on who is going to attack us? China? Not likely, I ...
