... has been absolutely spectacular. Last time I was here I remember having to stop at LLBean to buy a t-shirt, because even though it was early November it was sunny and in the 70s and I was not prepared. This visit was almost as nice, just a little bit cooler, but sunny and gorgeous. I think Portland likes me and wants to show off.

We drove to Easthampton from the Cape with the beautiful fall foliage of New England. It wasn't yet at it's peak but it was still an awesome sight and a very rare treat for us.

... now it is a barge pulled by a tugboat. Very interesting to watch the coming and going of the cars - three at a time. It is actually part of Rte 160. There was a continuous line of cars waiting to cross. Then it was off to dinner. It was nice to have a pretty relaxing day and we tried to watch the Royals game but only made it through the 6th inning - we are an hour later than home so that's our excuse. Another fun day and new and different sights. ...
