    Heard from Beth this evening and she is done with her backpacking trip. Celebrated with a beer and pizza. LOL Her next stop is Big Sur south of Monterey, CA before returning to San Diego on Friday.

    ... learn about American history. After a short drive soaking in the sights of Route 66 it was time to stop of for a shake at the famous Lucille's diner. Unfortunately the original part of the diner was closed so we couldn't go in . Was seemingly also annoyed the waitress too by ordering 12 shakes....I ordered a chocolate milkshake which was yum. He has flown a couple of Apollo and Gemini missions and has been instrumental in the NASA program.
