My husband and daughter got back today from their trip to Southern California. They were taking care of some things at our house, which is now under lease.
I was tired of being cooped up, so my daughter and I went thrifting.

After all this walking we deserved a break, and we stopped at Salt & Straw, a truly sensational ice cream shop. They did so many things right - they were making waffle cones as we queued, by hand. They brought us any flavours we wanted to taste whilst we queued. And it tasted amazing. We loved it!
We took a quick breather at our hotel and had a sensational dinner at a restaurant recommended by the concierge, called Tasty - and it certainly was!
