When we finally got shakely to the hotel, we dumped the car in the nearest and most expensive parking just to save me driving anymore, tried to get Chicago style deep pan pizza, only to find that everywhere was shut and had to get a takeaway pizza that was no different or better than any one you might get from your local takeaway on a Saturday night after a heavy session on the drink. We walked up to the bus stop, the bus arrived on time, it wasn't full when it picked us up and we got on with our bags. All was good till the bus started filling up and then a guy in a wheel chair got on and everyone was packed in. Two ladies behind use kept saying to each other "bags should not be allowed on the buses" so we just kept our head down but then came our stop ...

Exhibitions range from the history of the universe from the 'big bang' to present, to ancient telescopes and how university students learned in the sixteenth century. Afterwards, a stroll across Museum Campus and by the Field Museum (for another day) brings you through beautiful parks back to the CTA. A lovely gentle day after the exhilaration of the day before!
