... not unhook the camper from the truck. After many phone calls and four other campers helping me one of the guys figured out a way to by-pass the controller and about five hours later (9:00pm) we got set-up, camper leveled and slides out, whew what a day. ... them we settle in for a very civilised and deliciously well catered picnic. We were then treated to a balmy night with hot jazz served up by the Peter Martin quartet. Great muso's and great food- now where have I heard of that before?
The night is still fine as we head back to Mark's farm. Vanilla ice-cream and then climb into bed, ready for an early start to the airport in the morning.
Here we are somewhere in Illinois. On our way to St Louis to have lunch at a Diners Drive-ins and Dives favorite called Sweetie Pie's. Are we gonna have pie? You'll have to check back to find out. It was very unfortunate for Donna last night. She was only able to find one earplug and failed to bring the two cotton balls the Brooke had so thoughtfully given her.
