Our meal is Tuesday night and the menu includes: ham, funeral potatoes ( or also known as Yummy Potatoes), green salad, Mennonite fresh baked buns, and 5 varieties of cookies Mom has already baked and frozen.       We were watching the clock because the Bomber Command Museum at Nanton was a long planned stop on the way south. Mobile Internet is great because we could confirm it was open until 5pm – which was going to allow us an hour. We used most of that time, looking at various exhibits and reading the boards. The memorial outside was moving, with over 10,000 Canadian names listed who had died while serving in Bomber Command.

      Day 3 was the first overcast and rainy day we'd had. We were lucky though that there wasn't too much to see on our way to Winnipeg, so we didn't have to brave the weather to do some sightseeing.
