... Park when the sun was setting which made the view and photos look really beautiful. Then we went to Times Square to have dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant, which if you can't tell by the name, is a restaurant based on the classic movie, Forrest Gump. It contained facts, souvenirs and memorabilia from the movie, and a menu full of shrimp dishes which taste really cool.
... s a cool place but like everything in NYC, it was packed.
We returned to our hotel for a quick snooze then a late dinner at the restaurant next door called “Hurley’s”.
It has been an eventful 24 days. They’ve gone quicker than we expected. But it doesn’t end here…we have AT LEAST an hour’s worth of video footage…hel-lo movie night!

HORRAY, we made it. It was truely an experience driving into New York through Staten Island, over onto Long Island. As we drove over the Staten Island bridge we looked straight at Manhattan and The Statue of Liberty. We travelled on a 12 lane freeway. Good old Louise kept her head together and so did Gary.
