... to find ourselves in a trailer park where they rent out unused pads!! It literally was a small community!! We saw lots of license plates from the northern States & Canada. People were out riding bikes, zipping around in golf carts & busy playing tennis or in the pool. We were out & about most days so didn't actually stop & chat with anyone but we definitely saw an alternate way of life which some folks are very happy with!

Sanibel is always beautiful, but so crowded over the holidays. we also drove the ding darling preserve on Sanibel and saw lots of birds including rosette spoon bills.
