We are winding up our trip to Dallas and have spent the time with Simon and his family. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday has meant beautiful weather with daytime temperatures reaching 21 degrees and very sunny. We have visited a number of parks and done a few good walks. Sunday we went to Lewisville. We miss the coffee shops attached to the parks we have back in Australia. On Monday Steve and Christine went to Grapevine Mills DFO to try and retrieve the taxes ...

... Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse. We decided to get the "Everyone's Happy" platter of meat and side dishes as you choose. We tried the beef brisket, pork ribs, BBQ sausage and pulled chicken. This was a big event with live muic and a good atmosphere. Nice food (for a party) too.

Following that there was the chairman's reception in her suite. A much smaller affair but much more interesting.
