... I picked up in the city, haha! After another two-hour drive into New York, I arrived at my college roommates place in Mamaroneck. It's true what they say: after a certain time on Fridays, there is a mass exodus coming out of New York City. Luckily, I was going the opposite way and was a witness to the traffic instead of a participant! ... that came before them. It is what I call links in the chain. The chain link started years ago and it is up to the older kids to teach the younger and so on. When that link breaks we loose everything. As we are making our descent into JFK I conclude my blogging for this 3 1/2 week adventure that took us from New York to Edinburgh, Scotland to London and back home.
