    The beginning of our journey!

    ... so close to the pool/sundeck area, we could hear the strong down beat of the "Sailing Away" party music,

    We did the Balcony Guarantee option, which is a better price but NCL picks your stateroom for you. We've always had good luck with this option and have ended up in higher category rooms, but I like to be in the front of the ship. (14262 is in the back). In the back, we can definitely feel the vibrations of the engine--even 14 floors up!

    ... two of them and then it's time to head to Battery Park. A lot if it is under construction so we walk along the pathway to the ferry terminal. From the pathway you can see Miss Liberty in the distance. The sun is shining brightly, the sky blue and filled with helicopters encircling the waters, it brings the 9/11 home.     ... have put on the museum anyway. I caught up with will again, who I had met in the Buenos Aires airport when our flight was delayed.     We drove to New York City during our stay in CT. We squeezed as much sight seeing as possible in one day.
