... even the toys were supposed to be destroyed, so not much remains. The museum has a small collection of things, mostly donated from people in the town whose grandparents or great-grandparents worked on the lines.

The rain let u a bit around noon, but it rained on and off until about 5:00. The re-scheduled baseball game was still, apparently, on as a double-header beginning at 5:00 in Bluefield, so we headed that way. En route, it rained pretty heavily, ...

We intended to go to the ballgame tonight--the Bluefield (West Virginia) Blue Jays vs. the Princeton Rays, but it started raining about 3:00 and never let up. The game was postponed by the time we got to the hotel around 5:00, so at least we didn't have to go to the park and stand around through a lengthy rain delay. ... we hung around at the picnic table because it was the only area avoiding the rain. We had a fun time talking and laughing before we headed to bed.

... min hike to the crag but it was like walking through a rain forest. There was rhododendron trees and a little man made ladder on the side of a mini waterfall you had to cross to continue down.
