I was getting my hair done at Shear Perfection / Hair Port, when Rosemary strolled in to get her hair done. As we finished up, in walked Marti, ready to do her great work there, and it turned out her first customer was Gayle! What a small world, and what a great level of excitement! Found this great place to camp with a restaurant, which worked out really well since it was John's birthday. If this is the heartland of America, the drive from NE Iowa to here was the Aorta!! Gorgeous rolling farmland the whole way! We were on a secondary highway which even made it better! I had to pull over twice to let BIG farm machinery go by. It was really a delightful drive. The farms were meticulously kept. Many Amish are in the area.
