Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. We chose a sampler tray of different meat including; beef brisket, chicken jalapeno poppers, spicy sausage, and some beef skewers plus we added corn on the cobb. Everyone's favorite was the beef ...

Since we have been back, this mama has been disinfecting every item that was brought back from our trip. We have no idea why we got sick and certainly did not want to take any risks in getting sick again. Each item has either been sprayed downed, washed, disinfected, boiled, "quarantined", or thrown out. By quarantined, I use this scientific method of placing the wiped down disinfected stuffed animal in a zip lock bag where I have squeezed out all of the air and set it ...

... Once in the Sixth Floor Museum (where Oswald shot from - corner window) we learnt that after extensive testing and research (decades later!) they were 95% sure that the fatal shot was by Oswald. The 1st missed, 2nd went through the back of JFK's neck seen in many photos where he puts his hand to his neck, then shortly after the 3rd (fatal) shot went through his temple.
