We were privileged today to be able to introduce Macy and Anna to a legendary restaurant and one of Eric’s favorites. The Waffle House! Anna had cheese grits and hash browns, and Macy had a chocolate chip waffle. Macy has declared it her new favorite breakfast spot. She has her sights set high!

... Ocean, quite panoramic! Then we drove to another area of the park to hike Beech Mountain. It was a more remote area. Dave took one path along cliff walks which was too steep for me. After the shena****ns of the previous night none of us had the right to feel as good as we did on Saturday morning. We awoke brightly to another day heading for the 100's and kept inside eating leftover pizza and drinking coffee with Charlie as he gave us the grand tour.

... they had their ceremonial ice water dumped on the band members. It was really cool, because I was there to witness it. This is something that very few people get to be a part of and will be a part of their history as long as they are remembered.
