    Well that was an interesting road trip - the last 100 km went from desert to lush green valley - amazing me once again! Heading North on Interstate 5 today, if I remenber it's pretty boring but I'll take a few photos & keep you posted of our progress!

    Although an early start it was a steady and we had a good stop at Peggy's Sues dinner for a massive breakfast of eggs, bacon and french toast ! We crashed out on arrival at our best western ( good hotel ) and slept, the area was nice, but being a Saturday night nothing was open - So we caught up on sleep and then watched The Green Mile.     ... the world coming to? So onwards and upwards we drove into the Los Padres National Park, via Ojai. Took us two trips around Ojai to get out of the place, but we did. The scenery was magnificent. Not many trees for a forest but wow, the ranges were fabulous ever changing, from cliff faces to soft sand mounds. Miles and miles high. I think we drove up to 4000 feet at one stage. We stopped and watched some rock climbers I was having enough strife on the road ...

    ... of the bad guys gender was not supplied to us. Intell gathered from the Minister was that they were headed to San Francisco.     The therapist thinks that I’ll need to get a shot in my knee before leaving as it is highly likely that the knee will not be healed. Unfortunately I absolutely hate shots so am dragging my feet on this one. I think I’ll just take some anti-inflammatory pills and my knee brace along instead.
