From Gettysburg to Richmond on a Civil War Day. Peter is an avid reader of Civil War history and his interest has rubbed of on all of us. On to Sharpsburg/Antietam Creek Battlefield. We visited the sunken road and Burnside's Bridge. I lived in RVA for 4 years and had no idea this place existed! It was awesome. An old train buttress turned into a climbing wall. Someone came along and bolted the routes and left courtesy rugs for ropes (high flooded area). It was perfect. We started on the shaded wall where it was a bit chilly but we outsmarted the brick and had hand warmers in our chalk bags!

I will be honest I felt a little funny climbing ...
