... and these were very cute, prancing after their mothers with plaintive, high-pitched 'moos'!

The beef cattle were mostly black (sorry Pa, can't remember what breed!), some with white faces and a few little dark brown calves. Then there's the egg-laying hens: a chattering and curious group at the best of times. While I was at the farm, David and U.Alan picked up 80 more hens to add to the 30 they already had, although the new group were housed in the Michael designed ...

... roadsigns and landmarks as we drew closer because she'd been here before. We crossed the James River (quite a bit smaller than the Murray River, in volume at least) and saw signs for Huguenot Trail, turned off our GPS and became even more excited that we were so close. Pulling up to the sign and driveway for Adelaide Hills Farm we were thankful to God for having been brought here safely and also very happy to have arrived.

... Poe museum and the other was a Masonic lodge....These seem to survive all ransacking!!!
The docks area is now being redeveloped with lots of leisure space along the river and canal.. A nice walk of about 5.5 miles.

A lovely walk in the evening sunshine..

PS There is a large island in the middle of the James River call Belle Isle!!!!!!!
