We got on the road at 5:15am ...the car packed solid with plenty of room in the back seat for Sydney... We left before the sun rise with the temp of -30 oC . Left Richmond with great hopes for putting a lot of miles behind us but were thwarted by winter. Almost like it was following us. After only 4 hours we had to end our day due to over (according to the news) 100 accidents on the Interstate 95 corridor. Driving was treacherous and we passed multiple accidents. 24 degrees in North Carolina. Stopped for the night in Fairfield North ...

End of a Really Great Trip

We are home now, after one of the best trips ever. I took better than 4500 photos--this is about 500 more than I took in Norway, but I was only in Norway about half the amount of time. We flew 10 times, all ten flights on time or early. We saw an amazing array of animals, as demonstrated by the many pictures I posted. We collected 8 stamps in the passport. A fitting tribute to 25 years of marriage.
