This is definitely the worst campground we have stayed at. Next time we will remember and take our time to visit the shower-house before we pay. It was to dirty to use. The ground was covered with little pickers that stuck to my shoes, one even came through my shoe to poke me. Oh well, live and learn.
Clint, Texas, United States ironworker025... fruit ice blocks for dessert, we walked a few blocks to walmart for supplies. It felt safe and it was encouraging to see lots of people out shopping with their families. There was a few army guys in the car park. It looked as if they were staying in a tent erected by their jeep. They were playing hand ball against the wall, looked fun but i thought hopefully these guys were off duty.

The safest place to stay was a nice hotel. Lucerna Hotel was flash, 4 stars or I think. I ...
Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico jeydoublesyou... Visiting Officer’s Quarters). Jessica was very young….probably 5 or under. We arrived after dark and were assigned to a cabin-type structure. However, when we drove up, our headlights caught a skunk running under the cabin. We went back to the office and were given another unit but all night long I kept wondering if we’d be doused in skunk oil. The next morning, when we went to return the key, a platoon of soldiers was ...
El Paso, Texas, United States dlpool... s boyfriend Don is/was a HD store manager, I had to snap a few pics. Actually, he just accepted the General Managers position at a large Honda dealership in the Phoenix area (but don't tell your Harley friends that ; ). This place was huge, they must have hundreds of bikes amongst the three different show rooms. They also had a large selection of used and custom bikes too. This was ...
El Paso, Texas, United States johnrandall... makes me smile." ...the day two different people at two different times--independently of each other--took me aside to confide: "I don't want to be here illegally. How can I fix this? What can I do?" And I want to remember how helpless I felt because there is no answer to that question. We don't give them any option. The honest answer would be: "We don't want you to be equals with us citizens. We want you here to do our dirty work."
El Paso, Texas, United States billiegreenwood... s here. Strange to see after so much nothingness as we crossed West Texas. Anyway, we got the gifts, but had a tough time getting them safely to the rig. It was POURING rain this morning. Albert actually drove the trailer up to the door of the store so I could get the packages inside without them getting too wet. Easy to do, since no one else seemed to be out shopping on such a wet day. Next, we headed to Camping World to ...

El Paso, Texas, United States ericalee... had over 2 million trees growing at any one time! We also drove by the Zona De Silencio a mysterious place outside of Chihuahua where nothing mechanical will function - no cars, clocks, phones, and radios - anything. It is an unexplained phenomenon. Next trip I want to ride in on horseback to check it out! We made a stop at a tractor retailer to buy farm equipment, yes folks we have seen lots of random ****! They bought a Combine Harvester for oats. The younger ...

Our ride continued to the town of San Elizario and the Presidio Chapel San Elizario, which was established as part of a military presidio to protect El Camino Real, and the missions and settlements along its trail from Apache attacks. El Camino Real, or King's Highway or Royal Road, extended 1600 miles from Mexico City through the El Paso del Rio del Norte (which is the pass we rode over yesterday) to Santa Fe. Fort Hancock, Texas, United States kedd... rebels. He laughed. Of course by now I'm not too interested in the donkey shows or whatever it was that they used to have out at 'Boys Town,’ a place I only heard about through the barkings of of taxi drivers and other assorted facilitators. I remember distinctly the smell of bad gasoline, though, or maybe it was the lead they put in it.
