... a Level Nine VIP tour of the Space Center to see the behind-the-scenes parts of NASA that the general public never sees. We're going to see the places where the astronauts train in zero gravity and a Saturn missile and Mission Control where they actually fly the International Space Station. ... the UK's entire rain quota for the year, in five minutes. We couldn't see the road ahead and it was so bad all the cars had their hazard lights on just so you could see them. It was awesome, and Russ put his excellent driving skills to the test.
We made it to our hotel around 7pm, with the jet lag tiredness creeping in. Still, nothing that some food and a beer wouldn't sort out. We settled on Buffalo Wild Wings. This will be a good opportunity to explain ...
... The meal wasn't exactly as Don and I had remembered it from our last visit, but we enjoyed it nonetheless.
Don and I stopped in the Lobby Lounge to listen to some jazz music before returning to Room 418 and the wonderful bed. Tomorrow we would be leaving at 8 a.m. to begin our long flight back to Florida.
